Amy Collings
PRESCHOOL MANAGER/SENCo and DESIGNATED SAFEGUARDING LEAD (DSL)
I hold my Early Years Educator level 3 qualification and SENDCo level 4 qualification. Alongside my own experience as a mum to two children, I have a wealth of childcare experience and vast amounts of experience in working with children that have additional needs. I have passion and drive to ensure every child is given equal opportunity to learn and develop.
I strive for every child that comes through my setting’s doors to be happy, content and cared for to the highest standard and for each child to develop to their full potential; accepting nothing less than I would for my own children.

Emma H
DEPUTY MANAGER, ROOM LEADER AND KEY PERSON
My name is Emma (Emma H). I am married to Adam and have two daughters Amelia and Paisley, and a step daughter called Leah. We have a dog called Patch and as a family we enjoy going for walks in the woods and having family days out. I have my level 3 qualification in early years working in early years since age 18 and I have worked here since 2020. I enjoy working with children, providing them with fun and new experiences at preschool. I enjoy seeing the children’s progression throughout their time with us.

Emma A
KEY PERSON
My name is Emma ‘Emma A’ as I am known in preschool with there being two Emmas. I live in Ancaster with my Husband and three children, Hayden, Summer and Layla, we also have a dog. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family, relaxing in the garden and watching movies. I gained my level 3 qualification back in 1999 so I have many years’ experience working with children. I have worked in nurseries and primary schools and I joined the team here in 2019. Working with children is something I always wanted to do even back in secondary school. I love hanging out with the children; watching them grow, change and turn into amazing little people is such a privilege.

Tara
KEY PERSON
My name is Tara, I have a little girl called Maisie and a partner called Juan. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and visiting my nieces and nephews - all 20 of them! I also like to do painting by numbers and finding organisational hacks. I have worked at New Life Preschool since 2021 but have been working in childcare since 2009 when I completed my level 3 diploma. I have always loved being part of every child’s journey; to help them to grow and develop is extremely rewarding.

Susan
KEY PERSON
My husband (Mark Watson – now Senior Pastor of New Life Church) and I moved to Sleaford in February 2015. I have worked here at Sleaford New Life Preschool since 2015, first just covering lunches. The manager then invited me to train and do a Level 2 in Early Years, which I did. Having completed that, I went on to do a Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Learning and Development, completing that in 2019. In my 30’s I trained in singing to Grade 6. I love to sing with the children. Singing is fun and so good for everyone, especially for young children as it certainly helps with creativity, speech, language and expression.

Natasha
KEY PERSON
My name is Natasha, I am level 4 qualified and have been in Childcare for over 10 years. I have worked hard to achieve my levels 2, 3 and recently my level 4. I enjoy working with children and getting super messy watching them develop and grow as well as learning new skills and exploring the world around them. In my spare time, I am often found at the side of a football pitch supporting my little boy, alongside my husband. I also own 10 chickens, which can be a lot of fun in the spring.
